#52 – We pass the QUEEN’S ROW-BARGE and 4 amphibious cars at the Henley-on-Thames Classic Boat Rally

A little fairy door in the tree. Okay, so we had a wonderful mooring here, just before Sonning lock That’s coming downstream We’re going through to Shiplake lock to get some water and empty the toilets and rubbish So we’ve left our mooring at Sonning. What do you think? Beautiful! and so wide We’re following a holiday boat at the moment And we’re hoping to get to Henley today, but we’ll see. It is a Saturday? Is it a Saturday? We’ve no idea what day it is It’s Saturday today so we might struggle with moorings There are some stunning houses and boat houses along here Just before you get to Shiplake lock you’ll find the water point, toilet disposal, and the rubbish The water point, though, is a push on one We’ve come round the corner and there is a hose You see some really strange things on the Thames How about this for a residence. It’s just been sold Look at the boat house Maybe it’s two houses

That was weird, when we went through there just before the regatta, we had to keep left as all the rowers where in the central area, i was shouting at the screen “you’re going the wrong way” ha ha

Hello, amphibious cars are "amphicars" German cars with a motor "Triumph", many boats sometimes surprising on the Thames, Queens barge is really beautiful, thank you for making us discover all this

Thanks for this great vlog, the hire boat you followed at the beginning is from the marina that we're hiring from in September. As you told me last week Henley on Thames looks lovely especially having the classic boats there then. All the best Stevie

Haha I was shouting open the cupboard at the water point! Next to the house with the double boat house you commented on is where Debbie McGee lives. You also past George Clooneys house before Sonning bridge and the massive White House just after the bridge is where Yuri Geller used to live. I hate to be a kill joy but the Queens rowing barge is powered by an electric motor. The rowers are just for show

Were some handsome boats out there and those amphibious cars were pretty cool.

Aww, so sorry I missed you☹️ I’m trying to paint my boat at minute no obvious sunflowers! I’m moored at the boatyard just passed Runnymede. Think your boat looks brilliant on the Thames!

If I had a boat I'd name her the "T'ha'la Maru".
Unfortunately I couldn't use fictional places' ie: "Tyler's Relief" as its hailing port. 😉
