Capri Island Ferry – travel vlog

Capri Island Ferry – travel vlog

We’re just going to grab a quick swim this
morning and then we’re going on a day trip to Capri. So we’re going to show you how to get the
ferry from Sorrento over to Capri. We’re going to try and hit up the Blue Grotto
and Jacq’s got a restaurant that she wants to go to, called, Il Riccio. Il Riccio. So this is Jacq oh, Jacq and Stef’s day trip
to Capri. I didn’t touch it. So we’re just walking to our ferry now. Now first tip of the day is come early, it’s
just gone 8 o’clock in the morning there’s noone here, well hardly anyone here. Now also just letting you into a little bit
of a secret, the sequence that just played with us buying our tickets we shot that yesterday. Bought the tickets in advance, pretty sure
you can buy them online as well but if you don’t have a connection come down here a little
bit earlier, buy your tickets in advance and then just rock up for the ferry. Do you want a bag honey? Do you know what it’s really tempting, 5 Euros! Ended up just buying a regular baseball cap. Italia. So we’ve made it to Capri we’re just finding
a little place to get a boat trip so we booked a private boat for 3 hours. Bonjiourno Costanzo, Stefan, Stef, Jacqui. Lost our boat. Where’s our boat? I think he’s over there a little bit. Ok. I knew I’d get one plane in this video. This is everyone waiting to get into the Blue
Grotto. It’s a big queue, you park your boat on one
of these buoys and then one of these guys in the row boats comes up to pick you up. I think there’s about 10 boats ahead of us now. (Singing in Italian) Ciao, thank you, bye, thank you. Thank you very much, all the best, thanks
Costanzo. Bye. Il Riccio? So we made it to our lunchtime destination
this is Il… Il Riccio! Now Jacqui’s wanted to come here since about
a year ago we first saw a movie called The Trip To Italy, stars Rob Brydon and Steve
Coogan. Towards the end of the movie there’s a scene
where they come to Capri and they’re eating in a beautiful restaurant with a beautiful
view behind them… Do him when he shouts. We are in a nice place. You there, come back. No, move! Move, move, move… And so we’ve just had our starters our mains
are coming in a second and apparently they have a temptation room for desserts which
if room allows we may go and check out. Timecheck. 4.40, hour until the ferry. Off to Capri. It was 32 but he let us get away with 30. Ah that’s nice. Champion. Alright timecheck. It’s too far to walk so we’ve jumped on the
fenincular? Funincular. Cable car thing.

Fun Vlog, I wanted to visit that restaurant also. Funny "the trip to Spain" came out today for the final installment of those films.

You certainly know how to have a good time, Blue Grotto looks really nice and private boat is a great idea. If it was me though i would skip the main meal ang go straight to the temptation room. Thank you for sharing.

How long, or how much time did you actually get to spend inside the blue grotto?

Hi we booked a reservation at Il Riccio as well as a private boat tour similar to yours how do we book the little taxi that took you from the tour boat to Il Riccio? It looks like it belonged to the resort
