Carnival Cruises: Food and Drink Hacks

Carnival Cruises: Food and Drink Hacks After the first few days of being on a cruise,
you’re probably going to want some different food and drink options. We’ve put together six food hacks you can
try on your next Carnival cruise for no additional charge. The first food hack is all about finding bacon. The Carnival Deli at the Lido Marketplace
has some really delicious food, but they probably won’t have any bacon available. If you want bacon for your sandwich, you’ll
need to go to the condiments bar at Guy’s Burger Joint, where you can load up as much
bacon as you want! You’ll also find Chipotle Mayo nearby, which
you can use to spice up your sandwich a bit. The next four food hacks we have are all drinks. To make things easy, we recommend getting
a glass for mixing each drink’s ingredients. Some people call this first drink a copycat
Chick-Fil-A Frosted Lemonade, but we call it a Lemon Creamsicle. Either way, it’s easy to make
and surprisingly delicious. Get some vanilla soft serve from the ice cream
machines and mix it 50/50 with lemonade available at the buffet beverage stations and enjoy! A slight twist on the Lemon Creamsicle,
we called the next drink a Chilled Creamy Hot Chocolate. It’s another drink that’s easy to make
and is also quite tasty. Once again, get some vanilla soft serve from
the ice cream machines, but for this drink, mix it 50/50 with hot chocolate from the buffet
beverage stations and drink up! The next drink is an Arnold Palmer, which
is named after the famous golfer who drank the non-alcoholic beverage frequently. Thanks to the Lido Marketplace beverage stations,
it’s very easy to make one. Just get some tea and lemonade and mix them
together 50/50 and enjoy Arnold Palmer’s namesake beverage. The fourth drink is a basic sweet tea. All the tea we had from the buffet beverage
stations was clearly made from concentrate. To make something a bit tastier, just get
some hot water, sugar, and tea bags from the beverage stations and steep your tea. Once it’s ready to your liking, pour it
in a glass, add some ice, and enjoy! The final food hacks we have are provided
by Carnival and they’re specific to the burgers from Guy’s Burger Joint. Look for the surfboard located over the condiments
bar at Guy’s and you’ll find some tasty alternatives to the standard menu, including
one variation that will have you making a stop at the Blue Iguana Cantina.

My husband and I did a fantastic fall New England/Canada cruise on the Sunshine last year. We really enjoyed the manageable ship size and amenities offered. We're at an age where all the extras offered on larger ships don't apply/appeal to us anyway. I just found your channel and you've really inspired me! I'm going to seriously look into booking a Carnival Sunshine cruise that features the ports you filmed; a nice relaxing beach vacation. 🙂 Thanks!

Another Guy's Burger hack — you can have them mix and match parts of the stock burgers. Want an onion ring on a bacon burger? No problem. They'll also keep putting patties on the burger until you say "stop" (or hit 4 patties. That's when I said stop.).
