It’s been demonstrated that using the techniques the Polynesians used to navigate they could have circumnavigated the Earth. Wouldn’t that have been a trip for them to have reached Europe at the same time the Explorers were leaving.

This was a long-overdue return to form. Disney had a long dip from '89 to '98 — turned the crank and produced a bunch of formulaic blockbusters, yes, but nothing truly story-glorious until somewhere in the Mulan-Monsters-Inc-Brother-Bear window.
