Otherwise, we wouldn’t have had any funding from the EU The market of batteries and battery Maritime solutions were not that much mature enough at that time.So we got delayed several times So the building process took two years instead one year and Still we had ambitious goals about making a ferry that could sail 10 times longer than any other battery electric ferry planned at that time and That was very ambitious and there should be no Diesel engine not even an emergency generator using diesel And now that it’s sailing properly and being reliable people are more prone to support the project and a lot of people are responding positively to the Experience of sailing with this ferry the silence no smoke no pollution So here we have 420 batteries 840 altogether which gives us 4.3 MWh Is the best place on the ship and the best view If you take a diesel car and compare it to an electric car who have the same hear the maneuvreability acceleration Stopping distance are much better on the electric ferries She has a very good stability because we have very heavy batteries in the bottom and everything is down there. So when we are having few cars on the deck She reacts very quick The movements are very quick But the more cars have trucks the better she is So we have two visions on Aero One which has been with us for a while we intend to be CO2 neutral and self-sufficient with renewable energy by 2025 and two years ago, the municipality decided on a very ambitious goal, which is difficult to obtain and namely being fossil free in 2030 so that’s in 10 years. We are very busy to reach that goal. Yeah Well, the the fossil-free vision obviously has an impact on car owners A lot of people are set off by The upfront cost of an electric car, which is completely understandable But you save a lot in maintenance and you save a lot in fuel costs So we need to demonstrate this case for the population of Aero in order for them to fully Understand what it means to own an electric car. A lot of people are also skeptical about the range of an electric car which is slowly becoming less and less relevant because they can drive so far now and there are fast chargers all over the country and also if you want to drive on Vacation to the southern part of Europe. You also have a very good charging system all the way through Europe So it’s those kind of Myths or misunderstandings that we need to address and make sure that that’s not the reason To not buy an electric car Do you think that the Greek islands could follow the example of Aero?     Δυστυχως η ελλαδα απεχει παρα πολυ απο το να προσφερει ουσιαστικες διευκολυνσεις σε ανθρωπους που θα ηθελαν να εχουν ενα ηλεκτρικο αυτοκινητο ως πρωτο η ως μονο .Θα μου πει κανεις ρε κωστα εδω δεν εχουμε πρατηρια φυσικου αεριου σε επαρκεια.Καυσιμο οικολογικοτατο σε σχεση με βενζινη και ντιζελ αποδοτικοτατο και οικονομικο.Ασε που το κοστος αγορας ενος gnc αυτοκινητου δεν ειναι απαρορευτικο.Δε λεω η ηλεκτρικη κουλτουρα ειναι το μελλον ομως πρεπει πρωτα να πουληθει η υπαρχουσα τεχνολογια ωστε οι μελλοντικες γενιες ηλεκτρικων οχηματων να γινουν φθηνοτερες ελφρυτερες εξαιτιας της αυξησης της χωρητικοτητας των μπαταριων με δραστικη μειωση του βαρους τους..Ολα ειναι ζητημα κοστους και ανταποδοτικοτητας.Με αυτο το δεδομενο οι κινητηρες εσωρερικης καυσης ειναι ΑΣΥΝΑΓΩΝΙΣΤΟΙ πολυ μακρια απο οτιδηποτε αλλο.Ενα γαλονι βενζινη εχει ισχυ 33.7 kwh.Αυτη τη στιγμη η καλυτερη μπαταρια ιοντων λιθιου εχει τετοια πυκνοτητα που μπορει να χωρεσει 684wh ανα λιτρο ογκου της.Εαν θελαμε να παρουμε την ιδια ισχυ ενος γαλονιου βενζινης απο μπαταριες μεγεθους κουτιων αναψυκτικου μιας και μιλαμε για αναλογια ισχυος κατ ογκο θα χρειαζομασταν 139 κουτακια των 330 ml .Αυτη τη στιγμη τα ηλεκτρικα αυτοκινητα ειναι δυσπροσιτα για τους πολλους.Κατανοω απολυτως τη μεγιστη ροπη απο μηδεν στροφες την ευκολια οδηγησης την οικολογικη υποσταση ΑΛΛΑ δεν εχω τα χρηματα για να αλλαξω ενα αυτοκινητο που μπορει να κανει τα παντα με ενα ηλεκτρικο.Προφανως ενα ι3 με range extendter θα ηταν πολυ ωραια λυση.Ας ειμαστε ρεαλιστες στην πτωχευμενη ελλαδιτσα ενα ηλεκτρικο smart θα το αγορασει αυτος που εχει αλλο ενα τουλαχιστον ΑΚΡΙΒΟ αυτοκινητο ενω αλλες ακριβοτερες ηλεκτρικες υλοποιησεις θα αγοραστουν απο ΠΟΛΥ υψηλοτερα βαλαντια.Εν ολιγοις ειναι ειδος πολυτελειας τα πραγμα ακομα……Ευχαριστω τους συντακτες του περιοδικου ΜΑΣ για τον αγωνα που εδωσαν σε δυσκολους καιρους ανηκω σε αυτους τους λιγους πιστους συνοδοιπορους.Εχ ω το αρχειο των 4 τροχων απο το 1989 σας διαβαζα αρκετα χρονια νωριτερα ελπιζω μεσα απο τις σελιδες ΜΑΣ να μαθουμε νεα του πατριααρχη …………εκει απο το κωσταλεξι.Για τους λατρεις της ωραιας εποχης ευχομαι ο γαλλος να παρουσιασει ενα ρημαδι 208 με τον 1.6 thp 220+ μουλαρια τετρακινηση και το μαγικο ονομα …….Ειναι πολυ ομορφο το ατιμο .!!!
