I also put the blame on the city investigators. If there were so many complaints as they're claiming, then why didn't they shut them down as they normally would do? To me it seems as though the city of Oakland doesn't want to take any responsibility for their negligence.

The desire to find someone to punish is pretty gross. Everyone who lives in those situations is aware of the danger. Many residents came out and openly said they knew it was dangerous. It was an accident.

Those 36 hobo got free rent by these 2 guys. try to make free artists commune. This is what u get for trying to do good. stupid family blames u and sue u. If they really care they wouldnt let theyre children became homeless artists in the first place. now they care? those 2 bums cared about the 36 people more than their family. now they have to do jail time rofl. I hate democracy. 10 angry stupid people have more voice than 2 people who took homeless off the streets.

Fire Inspector’s are accountable, they did not shut the building down. Fire Department IS THE CAUSE..
