Volunteers Search For Missing Boater Off Fall River


AUBURN POLICE SAID THE STUDENT DID MAKE CONTACT WITH THE BUS BUT APPARENTLY WAS OKAY. TODAY STRANGERS ANSWER THE FAMILIES CALL AND JOINED THE SEARCH FOR A BOATER WHO VANISHED IN FALL RIVER. THE COAST GUARD SPENT THE WEEKEND SEARCHING MOUNT HOPE DAY BUT THEN CALLED OFF THE SEARCH BUT THE FAMILY STILL NEEDS CLOSURE SO THEY ASKED ANYONE WITH ABOUT TO JOIN IN AND HELP THEM BRING THEIR SON HOME. Reporter: THE OFFICIAL FIRST RESPONDERS HAVE COME IN ABOUT AN HOUR AGO AND CALLED OFF THEIR SEARCH FOR THE DAY. SOME OF THE VOLUNTEERS ARE STILL OUT IN MOUNT HOPE PAY AND YOU HAVE TO FEEL, YOU CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW TOUGH IT IS FOR THE FAMILY, THIS IS DAY THREE OF THEIR SON AND BROTHER AND FRIEND, MISSING. NOW WE’VE GOT TO RECOVER THE BODY. IT’S TIME TO BRING HIM HOME. FOR THE PAST TWO DAYS, MARTY HAS BEEN ON HIS OWN BOAT SEARCHING THE WATER FOR HIS SON. RIGHT NOW WE ARE JUST SEARCHING TO RECOVER MY SON’S BODY AND BRING HIM HOME. THAT’S WHAT WE NEED RIGHT NOW. OSBORNE’S BODY WAS FOUND AND NOW IT’S THREE DAYS OF SEARCHING FOR MARC HANOUD. WE’VE GOT ENOUGH EYEWITNESS STATEMENTS TO THE ACCIDENT WHERE WE HAVE NARROWED IT DOWN TO A RELATIVELY SMALL AREA PERIOD Reporter: THIS FAMILY IS LEFT AGONIZING.
